Extended Care Policy

St. Joseph School Extended Care Program is a non-profit program. Fees are used solely to support the operating cost of the program.

Contract
Calendars will be sent home in monday envelopes prior to the 1st day of the month. Payments and completed contract calendar are pre-paid and due on or before the 25th day of each month prior to use and considered late by the 1st day of the month.

All accounts are due and payable upon receipt of statement. If payment has not been received by the next billing, a late fee of 5% with a minimum of 50 cents will be charged.

Day Care fees will not be refunded for sickness or other changes in family plans.

All students on school grounds prior to 7:30 a.m. and after 3:15 p.m. will be automatically placed in Extended Care.

Child’s Personal Property
PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH HIS/HER NAME. Each student is responsible for his or her own personal belongings. Any personal property, which remains after the school session, will be put in LOST AND FOUND. Although the program attempts to help the children stay organized, we discourage the children from bringing toys or sports equipment from home. We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen articles.

CHILDREN MAY NOT BRING SKATEBOARDS, BIKES, ROLLER SKATES, RADIOS, CD PLAYERS, VIDEO GAMES, BASEBALL BATS, CELL PHONES, PAGERS, IPODS, PALM PILOTS, OR BLACKBERRIES.

If these items are brought to extended care they will be taken away. The parent will need to speak with the director to get them back.

Fees

Contracted
(Prepaid)
$4.00/hour per child ($2.00/half hour per child)
A minimum of 5 hours a week per child
Drop-In $5.00/hour per child
After first hour, the rate for every half hour is $2.50 per child.
Late Pick-up
(after 6:00 p.m.)
$25 per child will be charged for each fifteen minutes or portion thereof.
