Welcome to Student Council.
The St. Joseph Student Council promotes leadership, school unity, and spirit. All students are members and are invited to participate in activities and work with the leadership. The council officers and classroom representatives meet before school or at lunch twice a month with faculty advisors. They are responsible for the daily morning assemblies, Student Body spirit rallies, and Student Council sponsored events such as Faith Family activities, Welcome Lunch, Spirit Days, Catholic Schools Week activities, and Middle School Dances. Student Council members must be in good academic standing.
Students in Grades 5-7 may submit their portfolios in order to be considered for appointment as a Student Council Chairperson in early May. Faculty members and current Student Council members conduct the interviews. All students interested in applying must be in good academic standing.
